A Prayer in the Dark! Perhaps the world seems a dark place to you sometimes. But when we get a true perspective of God and his kingdom, there is another perspective available to us. Because the kingdom of God is a kingdom of light. And Jesus is, or can be, the light of your world, if you ask him to be.
Not only do Psalms express every experience of life, every emotion and situation human beings can face, they point us also to the God who made us and loves us. And so we are encouraged and strengthened in our faith. What’s more we see glimpses of Jesus our Saviour and the hope and life he offers us through his saving death and resurrection. My prayer is that you enjoy these meditations and devotions in the Psalms and that your faith is built up in Jesus.
