The Fall Classic is finally here and the Notorious Sports Critic Brent Reid is ready to break down and preview the series. The 119th World Series will see 2 to much up that have never face each other in the World Series before with 87-75 Philadelphia Phillies and the 106-56 Houston Astros who had the best record in all of baseball. Phillies lead by former MVP Bryce Harper beat St. Louis Cardinals 2-0 in the wild card round. They handed division rival Atlanta Braves (2021 World Series Champions) a L in 3-1 series win in the NLDS. They would take out another young team in San Diego Padres 4-1. All MLB teams have had to blow down the Houston Astros this year. In the playoff so far they have sweep Seattle Mariners and the New York Yankees. Who will this World Series play out? Can The Phillies do the unthinkable and take down the red hot Astros or will Houston put all the cheating rhetoric to rest and bring home their 2nd World Series in team history?
