On this week's Coach's Road we welcome on Mika Saarinen, Senior Lecturer in the Degree Program of Sports Coaching and Management here in Vierumäki. Mika has a long history of coaching at the elite level of hockey including spending time as the Head Coach for JYP and Tappara in Liiga and the Assistant Coach for the Pelicans in Liiga and most recently as the Assistant Coach for Jokerit in the KHL the past four years. Mika has also spent time as a video coach for the Finnish National Teams and has served as the Sport Director for the Pelicans and the Director of the International Ice Hockey Center of Excellence. Mika brings a lot of passion and emotion to our program and to this week's episode so we hope you enjoy the conversation!
