This week we welcome on Jeff LoVecchio, a Performance Coach and Owner of RIPT HOCKEY. Jeff also hosts The Hockey Think Tank Podcast along with Topher Scott. With Jeff we explore more into Strength and Conditioning and he provides us with some great conversation of training specifics for the first half of the conversation including what a typical session looks like for his athletes, what type of training he prefers, and a bit on developing athleticism vs strength. For the back half of the conversation we dive into the the environment he wants to create in his gym and session for his athletes including external cueing and feedback, gym culture and the personalities he looks for in athletes. We finish up with how the gym can teach life skills and what it takes to be an elite athlete. We hope you enjoy this week's episode!
