Description

In this episode, I get some time to reflect on the most recent strikes that are coming out of IATSE in California and across the nation. These strikes are concerns of studios and productions who are not giving behind-the-scene workers benefits, less hours on set, and even lack of sleep. Now more than ever, these workers demand to take full action and change within the industry that has far too long ignored. Almost 98.68% of its members have voted in favor of the strike, including House of Representatives who wrote a letter in full support. The question remains, will this movement change the film industry as we know it? Plus, I reviewed Netflix's final season of 'On My Block' which gives a last-glimpse look to the diverse multicultural group. I hope that this episode will give the best support to those who've been working in entertainment for many years.
