#2 podcast we interview, Junior, Alex Florea '22. Alex is a student that participated in the Pre-Health January Interim Career Exploration at Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC). Alex spent the month shadowing the Chief of Neurosurgery, Dr. Thomas Bergman and his team. Alex is a physics major and has an interest in research as well as medicine.
One of the unique opportunities available at Gustavus is the Pre-Health January Interim Career Exploration. During the January Interim students have the opportunity to shadow a professional in their area of interest full time (30-40 hours per week) and earn academic credit.
