Director of Health Service in Health ServiceHeather Dale is a Physician Assistant and the Director of Health Service. The Health Service is fortunate to be staffed with exceptional professionals whose expertise, compassion, and excitement for students overflows into their daily work on campus. Heather began her tenure at Gustavus in January of 2008 after spending four years in Idaho practicing at an Urgent Care and a Women's Health Clinic. Heather loves the opportunities the college setting provides to educate and care for students in a very personalized manner.Heather and her husband Jordan have two boys and a little girl. Summer highlights include returning to the Sawtooth Mountains of Idaho to visit friends and enjoy the great outdoors. Assistant Director of Health Service, Nurse Practitioner in Health ServiceNissa is a nurse practitioner who received her bachelor of arts degree in nursing right here at Gustavus! She has previously worked as a labor and delivery nurse at Methodist Hospital and as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the Brookdale Park Nicollet Clinic. Returning to campus to work in Health Service is a dream come true for Nissa as she is passionate about working with the college age student. This presents an opportunity for educating and promoting personal development and growth within the college years.
Nissa is married to Brian, also a Gustavus Grad. Nissa and Brian have three children, Lydia, Charlie and Greta. In her spare time Nissa enjoys being a mom, home improvement projects, camping, biking, playing/watching sports and traveling.Education
