Like many of you guys, I’ve spent much of my time sifting through tweets and Instagram posts. Watching videos of the protest happening across the country. It’s a lot for me to take in and I’m just sad. Personally, I’ve struggled with not going to the protests happening here in Atlanta. I just didn't think that it’s where I’d be the most useful. I think that all those who are protesting are incredibly brave and I don’t even think a million thank you’s would even be enough. They are fighting for us, real-life heroes. Donating money to the cause is a great start, however, I still want to do more. This is why today’s episode will be about White Flight + The Wage Income Gap specifically in Atlanta. But before we get started, I do encourage everyone to watch the movie Just Mercy. It’s free to watch on YouTube and the film stars Michael B Jordan and Jamie Foxx. I pretty much wept during the whole movie. If there’s absolutely one thing that everyone should be doing during this time, it’s educating themselves. With that being said, let’s get into today’s episode.
