On Season 2 of The Appeal Unfiltered, co-hosts Neima Abdulahi and Brii Renee kick off the season with Atlanta legend Big Bank who shares his come-up story in Atlanta, motivational message for the youth, and how he discovered his passion as a podcast host of the Big Facts Podcast, which just now has entered into a partnership with REVOLT TV.
“We were getting money other ways first” revealed Big Bank. Podcasting was not the first choice for the Atlanta native. However, through time and self-discovery Big Bank describes how podcasting became a form of therapy for him. “With the podcast, we are really getting a message out. People DM us and tell us how much we mean to them.” Big Bank believes he is really fulfilling his purpose with the content he is producing. In addition to that, he feels the Atlanta youth are able to see a role model tapping into other ventures.
“I tell kids don’t let your past define you. You have to see more to want more too.” Big Bank explains how his mindset in the past was limited to his surroundings. Moreover, it wasn’t until he traveled and received more exposure that his view on life changed. “I’ve seen the real trenches overseas and they really have nothing. The true dream is in America.” Bank stresses how imperative it is for the youth of today to utilize the internet and chase their dreams. Lastly, Big Bank mentioned, “Social media and emotion do not mix. The internet does not forget. And everyone that you love and trust does not love and trust you back.”
