Today we’re continuing our series on finding deals and building lists! Over the next few weeks we’ll discuss the pros and cons of various list building options for new and existing wholesalers. We’ll tell you about our experiences and whether or not we’ve had success. But remember, just because we do something, doesn’t mean it will work for everyone. So listen in and get ready to build your list and find deals!

Let’s talk about Door Knocking! This is exactly what the name implies. You go up to a door, knock on it, and ask to speak with the seller. With this, you get up close and personal with the seller, which could be a good or bad thing. We’ve gotten deals just by door knocking before, so it’s important to remember you can do this. It can feel strange and invasive, but it’s just another way to make sure you’re comfortable with being uncomfortable!

Shawn Bowen has been a real estate investor since 2010. Right now he mostly does wholesaling, but he's also worked on new construction, rehabs, lending, buy and holds, rentals, and creative financing.
