We are back for Chapter 3 of Never Split the Difference by Chris Voss. Chris was an FBI negotiator for 24 years before he retired and started The Black Swan Group. Now he teaches his skills to individuals and groups so they can learn how to better negotiate in all areas of their professional lives. Shawn has been a fan of this book for a while and regularly references it with sellers, buyers, our private group, and even us. Some of us have read Never Split the Difference multiple times and the others are on their first read through, but we’re all excited to learn something new or pick up something we’ve missed in previous reads. Over the next few weeks we’re going chapter by chapter to discuss all of Chris’ techniques and how they can help us, and more importantly you, learn how to be better negotiators and grow your business.
