Today, I sat down with Sherene Kurian John! She is a Special Education Teacher and is just so passionate about what she does. In our conversation, we go over her educational background, teaching techniques, personal growth, setting boundaries and much more! One thing that really hit home; a-lot of the techniques Sherene uses to assess a student's needs are things that we should all be doing with our fellow human beings. For example, "meeting the student where they are at" is something Sherene utilizes in her classroom. To me, however, this applies to all of my relationships.
