I don't really know how to sum up this episode. If you know Danny Strickland, you'll understand the challenge. If you don't know Danny, he's my friend, neighbor, and at one point he redid my kitchen cabinets. I wanted to have Danny on because 1) I think he's funny and interesting, and 2) he and his family have become foster parents and that is a story worth hearing about.
This episode feels much like any normal conversation with Danny in that it covers a variety of topics and you want it to end sooner than it does.
We'll discuss his family's foster care experience(s), and then we go into talking politics. Danny is a self-described Conservative. And while I know some listeners will disagree with his conclusions, I hope you can still respect who he is as a person and how he comes to conclusions. I enjoyed the political discussion as we talk through ideas.
