We were able to catch up in conversation with our good friend from Boston Yelena Rodriguez this week about what she’s been up to since our last discussion in the summer of 2020! She revealed the story behind her latest track “Rumba” and how the experience of a previous toxic relationship led to a full on artful expression through not only the lyrics and melody but also the songs accompanying music video which just so happens to be her first. Yelena also dove into her future plans to be involved in a way to help musicians with their mental health and well being through a means of open conversation that has the potential to help individuals deal with the stress and pressing issues they might face through an art career in particular.
