Sync songwriting is a skill all it’s own and can usually only be conquered by a certain level of music maker. A North Carolina artist named Giavonna has been on this path for several years now and joined us to give a bit of insight into how it’s been going! She describes how she approaches the briefs of different TV and movie projects and how it can be challenging to create the exact feel of what each one calls for. Having made several great connections via clubhouse she talks about the advice she’s been given on how to improve her craft and give herself the best chance to land sync placements as she moves forward and continues to get better. Her plans to use sync as a means to fund her own releases as an artist in the future are a great example of the importance of a blueprint to have in place as a young artist with a real structure for success. We want to extend another thank you to Giavonna and if you’re an artist who’s been curious about writing for sync licensing specifically here’s a great episode just for you!
