Not too many mix engineers have appeared on the show up to this point but when they do they always seem to have some great advice or behind the scenes light to shed. This week was no different as we welcomed L.A. resident and Belgium born talent Jerome Renard to the podcast! He talks about the many different jobs and opportunities he’s had along his road to becoming a full time engineer mixing for artists all over the world. He discusses the differences between working with more independent acts versus major labels and companies as well as how he approaches each new situation to bring out the best in every song he touches. Jerome’s main goal being to keep the heart in the music shows his true character and purpose for his work. It’s something we’re certain he’ll continue to keep in mind as he moves up the ranks in his already impressive career!
