On episode 154 we welcome a Dallas native Dee Dot who is not only a fellow music maker but also a music podcaster as well! Having connected with him through his show “The Major Music Lounge” we had a great time diving in more depth with him this week on our platform! He talks about his music making process and how it’s shifted over the years especially from the analog to digital formats that he continues to experiment with when it comes to making beats. Within the media space he touches on how his background in radio as a show host eventually led him to podcasting where he now interviews artists and producers both locally and around the world which has opened up the doors to new and exciting relationships. Dee Dot continues to not only make great music but also serve the independent music community in a great and unique way which to us shows his level of importance to the space.
