Freshly returned to the music landscape is Jacksonville rapper PSYK who is finding a new and enlightened purpose within his craft. He joins us on the show this week to discuss what it’s been like seeing the changes over 20 plus years active and a whole lot more! We touched on his influences like Trick Daddy and the late great DMX both of whom showed an aggressive and unique style which led PSYK to pursue a sound of his own. In more recent times he discussed the importance of surrounding encouragement he’s received to continue on with his solo work and to put himself out there more via social media platforms both of which have helped improve his confidence and create new opportunities. Serving as a true testament towards long sustained consistency PSYK has a lot more left in him and we can’t wait to see where it might lead from here!
