A standout in the Midwest Independent Hip-Hop scene from Lansing, Michigan named J.Plantana joined us this week for episode 168! If you’re a close follower of our brand you might remember her from her highlight in the 2nd annual Women’s Appreciation Month this past spring and we were happy to reconnect for a more in depth discussion. Following the release of her latest EP “New Demeanor” she talks about how it serves as a precursor to her next full length album that’s currently in the works and was able to shoutout some of the other individuals who are a part of both projects. While balancing a job and attending college she also has still been able to make time for creativity as well as attending local showcases and events to network with new people which has continued to open the door towards new opportunities. With a love for lyricism and unique storytelling it will be exciting to see what J.Plantana will do next as she continues to push herself to new and exciting places!
