On episode 209 we begin a small run of UK artists and kicking it off is our long awaited discussion with singer / songwriter Cyan! We’ve been a big fan of Cyan’s work for the last several years and have been waiting to get her on the show for quite some time which we’re happy was finally able to come to fruition! We loved getting to talk about her 2023 project “The Butterflies Died” which was one of our favorite EP’s from an independent artist last year. She told the stories behind some of the studio sessions and how certain happy accidents led to some of the project’s greatest moments. She also described how she’s been channeling her life experiences through travel and day to day activities into her creative side which has allowed her to keep innovating as she crafts her next batch of new material. Her message of intention and creating a purpose for herself through music really shine through in this discussion and we know you’ll be able to take some key elements with you by the end of it.
