On episode 212 we welcomed an awesome producer from Florida named Ezi Bear! After receiving an Instagram follow from her a few months back we were very impressed with the quality of work she was putting up on social media and wanted to extend the opportunity to get her on the show. We made it happen this week and had a cool discussion about what music making has given her through creating an outlet of self expression. She talked about her process creating beats with the SP-404 and some of her influences like Kaytranada who helped her in the process of finding her own sound. Building through her YouTube channel she discussed how content creation including vlogs and behind the beat videos have benefited her to reach new listeners and find other producers to start working with as well. Ezi Bear is not only a very talented music maker but also a super down to earth person grounded in her work. We anticipate future collaborations and will be keeping an ear out for her next project(s) on the horizon!
