On this week’s catch up episode we had the chance to reconnect with California native and music producer Jay B who first appeared on the show in 2021! Jay dialed in from the infamous Chalice recording studio in LA in between sessions to have a cool chat about what the last couple years have been like and especially what he’s been through this year in 2024. Having recently lost someone quite close to him he discussed what he’s learned about his own mortality and how he’s been able to keep pushing and growing through the tough times. After officially signing to his cousin Hit-Boy’s Surf Club imprint he also has had a ton of new opportunities coming his way on the music side. He revealed new tracks with artists like Denzel Curry that will be coming soon and gave a clear picture of what people can expect from him as he doubles down on collaborations and networking. We’re thankful for Jay B’s willingness to share about his ups and downs and we have no doubt he will keep achieving incredible things as a creative. We’re very excited to hear what’s to come from him real soon!
