After years of being single, I made a very important personal declaration: I'm available. The term single became an excuse for me to stay unavailable and keep my walls up. To declare myself available means inviting in deeper conversations and calling in someone who has the capacity to acknowledge their feelings, someone with emotional intelligence. In these uncertain times, calling in a partner can be scary, as the person to person interaction is limited and restricted. How can we still make ourselves available in the midst of a pandemic?
