Honoring my statement to join the conversation of Black Lives Matter, I share with my audience how my Ancestry DNA brought up feelings of guilt and shame around the movement. As someone who discovered there's African in my blood, I stand proud in learning more about my culture but feared judgment from both sides. Can you truly claim yourself to be "part black" if you haven't experienced the oppression and the prejudice? I share my thoughts on all of this.
