Casey was the bass player for the legendary dance-punk-post-hardcore band In Medias Res. Contemporaries of Nineteen, Kill Me Kate, the Conformists, Corbeta Corbata, and the like, In Medias Res didn't last too long but their outsize ability to inspire and bridge gaps across genres left a generation of (slightly) younger punks to blaze similar trails.
