A reflection on John 7:53-8:11. The religious authorities drag a woman in front of the crowd, accuse her of adultery, and want to use the Bible to justify killing her as punishment. They also decide that this is an excellent occasion to try and trap Jesus in making him decided between compassion and following the law.
