Matt Brough and Jen Ostash-Gooch discuss the ancient hymn found in Philippians 2:1-13, and what it means to have the same mind that was in Christ Jesus. The hymn speaks of Jesus being in the form of God but did not regard equality with God as something to be grasped onto (or be exploited), but emptied himself. We too are made in the image of God and there is great power in that. What then does it mean for us to not consolidate power, but empty ourselves of it for the sake of others?
