Happy 10th episode! Whether this is your first episode or your tenth, thank you so much for supporting our podcast! We always joke about no one listening, but there are actually a few people who do and that means a lot. We want to celebrate our tenth episode, but you know what we shouldn’t celebrate? We shouldn’t celebrate white people for being anti-racist. In light of recent events, many people have taken to social media to brag about being anti-racist or “woke”. People have also made memes out of serious social issues (ex: Breonna Taylor and Megan Thee Stallion). Today we explore and dissect why that is in no way helpful to further social movements.
