An acquaintance of mine, Dr Paul L Williams has written a book called "Church in ruins". It describes how the Roman Catholic Church fell to pieces from a Biblical perspective. From a church with huge attendance and Biblical teaching to a modernist denomination, plagued with moral scandals. In the western world only a handful of people still attend, despite the claims of millions of members on paper. Only priests who dare to speak out are personally excommunicated. Not even Adolf Hitler and Heindrich Himler suffered that fate... None of the bishops who abused and facilitated abuse was. Instead some of the worst were promoted and protected by the present resident of the papal apartments.
How is is possible to keep the faith, while there is apostacy and betrayal of the things of God all around you? With a show of humility and use of Christian terminology, of course.
