Over the years so much emphasis has been put on the scales as the one way to measure fat loss/fat gain

I know I have spoken about this before and I am aware of many different content creators who have done so too but it is still something that I hear about regularly 

And after years of it being shoved down our throats, I don't blame people 

So today I decided to talk about things that you are mistaking for fat gain 

I talk about water retention and how that can cause it Exercise (not the way you think) Time of month (for the ladies) 

And the importance of keeping your conditions when you weigh yourself consistent  

If you get an emotional response from stepping on the scale, you may need to take a break from it for a while 

Remember it is a data point which has no correlation to your self worth so if you feel it affects this you are better off not using it
