Where did the year go? I can’t believe this is my final episode of 2024! In this episode, I take some time to reflect on what I’ve learned this year – and hopefully, it might help some of you too.

At the start of the year, my whole world was turned upside down when my relationship ended.

I was already in a tough place mentally, and to be honest, I thought it might tip me over the edge.

But in the middle of it all, I was forced to change how I approached things – and now, looking back, I’m truly grateful for it.

In this episode, I share:

• How starting therapy helped me learn to process my emotions instead of pushing them down.
• The value of enjoying my own company and learning not to cling to friendships or people out of fear of being alone.
• How joining a rugby team pushed me way out of my comfort zone, both physically and socially – something I never would have done if life had stayed the same.
• The importance of accepting the natural ups and downs of emotions instead of fighting against them, and how asking why I feel a certain way has been a game-changer.

This year taught me so much about myself, and while it wasn’t easy, I’m coming out of it stronger and more hopeful for 2025. If you’re struggling right now, I hope this episode helps you feel a little less alone.
