Genocide is happening in the modern day, right before our very eyes. Atrocities and inhumane acts are being committed and one would think that all we could do is watch, unblinkingly, while it occurs. The road to liberation never seems to be easy, but nevertheless, it is made up of many paths and avenues. In today's episode, Dre explores the different paths available to us when doing liberation work. We are not all foot soldiers, field medics, or financial backers. Some of us are digital advocates, historians, educators, or artists. Dre explores all of these ideas, linking them back to the very real world example of genocide taking place in the Middle East, as well as domestic examples and opportunities that can be engaged with on an almost regular basis.
