Description

You like Cookie Pocket? Their early work was a little too amateur for my taste. But when Season Two came out in '21, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole season has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the episodes a big boost. They've been compared to Welcome to the Basement, but I think Cookie Pocket has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humor.

In '22, Cookie Pocket released this; Season Three, their most accomplished season. I think their undisputed masterpiece is "Episode 69 - American Psycho." An episode so free flowing, most people probably don't listen to the words. But they should, because it's not just about the pleasures of Mary Harron's 2000 masterpiece. It's also a statement about the podcast itself.
