Walter Mondale was an important Minnesota Senator who became Jimmy Carter's Vice President in 1976 and ran for President himself in 1984 with a United States Congresswoman named Geraldine Ferraro as his Vice Presidential Running Mate. He was highly respected by his Colleagues and will certainly be missed by all who knew him.
