Description

I love listening to loads of different voices, listening to the tones, sounds and uniqueness of our voice.

This is a remix of the podcast #150 posted on 22 October 2019,  part 1 of how to speak more effectively at interviews and I would love to hear your thoughts about how this podcast had helped you and please give me some feedback on things you would like to hear in future episodes too. I thought I would do a little remix and add some extra thoughts, tips and ideas to help those having to speak at some upcoming interviews.

Let’s jump in here.

Now to speak effectively, it starts first in your mind. So,  what is going on in your head? You need to have positive thoughts. I mean can you imagine Usain Bolt on the day of all of those three Olympic gold medal races and what his mindset was like? I am sure he was coming with a focus to smash and annihilate all the competition. If he thought for one second that he could not do it, then he would not have done it. I think Usain Bolt believed he could do it, he trained for it and he did it and he #gotthejobdone. Plus he slam-dunked everybody at the race too. You need to have the mindset of Usain Bolt like a winning and successful Olympic champion in regards to your speaking effectively skills. You need to think you can, believe it and it will be done.  Someone who comes to get the gold and is not leaving the track until they get it, that is you my friend in regards to sharpening up how effectively you speak.

How do you think your mindset is going?
