On our first episode of four, we start the Scream franchise. We talk about how the first Scream movie & Scream series altogether, broke the rules of horror movies and reinvented them. The meta and self-awareness of the first Scream film broke boundaries in the satirical commentary of how most horror movies are made and filmed. Wes Craven hit it out of the park with this one.
