Car was Marc’s first word. While Marc obsessed about classic cars as a kid, he got his first taste of the EV world upon entering Cornell University and joining their hybrid electric vehicle team. Marc saw the Austin Texas growth as a tech hub and transitioned from engineer to tech recruiter, starting and growing Hirestarter, one of Austin’s most prestigious high tech recruiting firms over the course of 15 years, all while building and customizing cars and researching automotive innovation on the side. In 2017, after years of calling it a hobby, founder Marc Davis finally put the pedal to the floor on Moment Motor Company. Marc and his small team of engineers, machinists, fabricators and product specialists transform vintage head-turners into modern electric cars, giving customers all the thrill of driving a beautiful classic with none of the hassle of their decades-old drivetrains. Moment replaces old gasoline burning engines with clean and powerful electric motors that still preserve the classic driving experience but are even more enjoyable to drive.
