We are all too familiar with the hymn - "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel", but really, what does it mean for God to be with us? Perhaps you have also struggled to recognise God's presence in your life this year. We talk about deserts, isolation and how despite the personal darkness we may be living through, He is very much with us. He who became man, experiences the gritty parts of being human. He is not far from us. He chose to came down to us, out of love for us. May the coming week leading up to the Nativity of our Lord be a peaceful one, as we wait with anticipation for Him.
