St John Paul II encourages us to 'put out into the deep' and sometimes we fear of the deep waters He calls us to. We are overtaken by fear and prefer to stand near the shoreline. Yet we are made for more, we are made for a live deeper than what seems important to us. Let us pray for the courage to go into the deep, where feet may fail, where each tentative step takes us closer to a life rooted in Him.
