Eddy Devisse is originally from Montreal, Canada, and now living in Trinidad & Tobago.
Eddy has been training for over 30 years, during which time he’s competed and trained in over 10 countries before landing in T&T and establishing the Shoshin Kendo Dojo, and founding the Kendo Federation of Trinidad & Tobago.
He holds the rank of Kendo 5-Dan.
In this wide ranging conversation, we talk about his history in Kendo, moving to Japan and then USA, and about teaching and building an organization from scratch.
