HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY WEEK! Raising kids to leave the nest is a daunting task to be sure and seems super far off. But as they say....it goes by FAST! Will they remember what we taught them? Do they know how to cook/do laundry? Where to go if they have car trouble? Will they hold to their faith in Christ they grew up in?
As a stay at home mom for 16 years, sending off our three children out into the world and seeing our family dynamic change, was an adjustment to say the least, but then that’s my perspective. For this episode, I wanted to get a young adults’ perspective on leaving the nest, so this week, I’m talking to my three children about their experiences leaving home, their mindset, growth and stepping into adulthood.
