There is an odd feeling around the Arizona Cardinals franchise. Despite making the playoffs for the first time since 2015 and an 11-6 record there is a heavy amount of skepticism regarding the future of Arizona. Kliff Kingsbury could very well be on the hot seat going into the 2022 NFL Season. A common criticism of Kingsbury is that he isn't great at making adjustments in-game or in-season. This criticism is understandable since the Cardinals started the season at 8-1 and then went 3-6 in their remaining games including their playoff loss to the Rams. Another disturbing development is the relationship between the Cardinals and star QB Kyler Murray. Murray is due for a contract extension at the end of next season, however, will he and Arizona be able to come to terms on a new deal, and does Kyler Murray even want to remain an Arizona Cardinal?
The Washington Commanders formerly known as the Washington Football Team are coming off a disappointing 7-10 season. Washington dealt with tons of injuries to key players and lackluster offense. The Commanders have pledged to go all out this off-season to improve the QB position. The Washington Commanders have been linked to almost every QB available via Free Agency or the Draft, such as Deshaun Watson, Jimmy G, Russell Wilson, and Kenny Pickett have been some of the names attached to the Commanders QB search.
The 2021 NFL season was a disaster as they finished 7-10 and missed the playoffs. The main reason for Seattle's letdown season was Russell Wilson's injury which he missed several games early in the season, and also struggled his first few weeks back. The Seahawk's defense struggled most of the season, leading HC Pete Carroll to bring in new faces on Seattle's defensive staff. For another off-season once again Russell Wilson's future with the Seattle Seahawks remains blurry, along with veteran LB Bobby Wagner.
