The Longhorns had a disappointing 2021 season in Year one under Steve Sarkisian finishing with a 5-7 record, not making a bowl game, and not having a single player drafted in the 2022 NFL Draft. Going into the 2022 College Football season there is a lot of optimism bringing in a top-five recruiting class and landing several big-time transfers such as former Ohio State QB Quinn Ewers, WRs Isaiah Neyor, Agiye Hall along with TE Jahleel Billingsley, and CB Ryan Watts. Fans of the Texas Football program are starving for a season worth cheering for, is 2022 the season that Texas will be back?
