This is a sort of prologue to our series on the history of Oregon football. We talk to Rian Winter, one of the most knowledgeable Ducks fans out there, and look at roughly the first century of the program. As many know, a lot of what we see during this period is very different from what follows, but nonetheless, we thought it was important to contextualize the rise of the program by dedicating a chapter to the deep history that predates it.
