Our main topic of discussion comes after further information about Tom Sachs allegation has come to light. We did hear about it initially a few months ago but chose not to speak on it till more information was presented to us. It’s come out that he has been quite disrespectful to his colleagues especially women, and the workplace environment he has created has been referred to as “toxic”.
We discuss the future of Tom Sachs as a Nike collaborator and whether the brand should continue its relationship with him in light of this.
And lastly, we get into the leak of the Crenshaw Skate Club x Nike SB Dunks, which were leaked by Master Chefian. SB came to the comments to ask why he has them, especially because it seems the release was still pending. In one hand it’s great to see these pairs in advance, in the other it’s tough for collaborators and Nike SB because it ruins the element of surprise.
