Darren and Adrian of The Walleye Magazine join us THA Schtudio Toniiiiiiiight as we look at the spectacular journey over 16 years of passionate journalism in Thunder Bay,ON.
The Walleye Magazine is a monthly publication with over 10,000 printed copies and a significant online subscription base. Their aim has always been to provide the magazine free of cost which is why they believe in partnering with businesses for advertising and marketing.Darren also spoke about his passion for kite-boarding and overlanding vehicles to travel in exotic places. The Walleye managed to survive the COVID-19 pandemic and has adopted a remote style of working where all their writers and designers use Google Drive as their workspace. The Walleye Magazine has consistently provided a human interest aspect while giving an excellent platform to creative personalities like rap artists, sculptors, painters, filmmakers, chefs and brought to light the diverse culinary culture of the city.
