In this episode we share stories and culture from the Cayman Islands.

Cayman Islands is located south of Cuba and northeast of Honduras between Jamaica and Mexico.  It is made up of 3 islands Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac and Little Cayman.

Culture is a mix of mainly European, British, African and Jamaican.

The Languages spoken are English, Spanish, Brogue (Welsh , Scottish & English ancestors), Jamaican patios .

1 The islands are not islands

   They are a part of a mountain called the Cayman Ridge rises 7,500M at is highest point above the sea

2. Rare species

   Some of the rarest species in the world are found in the Cayman Islands.  Flora and Fauna, Blue Iguana, etc.

3. Underwater fairy dust

   You can experience underwater fairy dust  - secret lagoon in Grand Cayman on of the few places in the world that have the phenomenon of bioluminescence can be found.  Best describe as underwater fairy dust made by a single cell organism reacting with water resulting in green and blue light

4. Culinary Capital of the Caribbean
