JFK, the Eagle and Hoss, set forth his expectation to America on June 11, 1963 that he would push civil rights legislation through Congress. Later that night, a cowardly sniper Democrat (nevermind his name!) murdered Medgar Evers in Mississippi. Evers was only one of thousands of African Americans and their supporters who were murdered by racists.
