Description

JFK, the Eagle and Hoss, set forth his expectation to America on June 11, 1963 that he would push civil rights legislation through Congress. Later that night, a cowardly sniper Democrat (nevermind his name!) murdered Medgar Evers in Mississippi. Evers was only one of thousands of African Americans and their supporters who were murdered by racists.  Many similar stories of brutality and absurdity are shared within the collection called Four Hundred Souls by Kendi and Blain. Four Hundred Souls provides a different perspective of American history which must be heard! The Eagle Hoss & Hound podcast is a platform for respect. Respect for the Eagle - the individual with a service background (including spouses). Respect for the Hoss - the Social Integrity Hero from our American past. Plus, the Hound - the common #AmericanMutt - you and me. Follow @EagleIMBUED - J.D. Collier
