On this episode I am joined by film critic Freda Cooper to discuss Nolan’s brilliant thriller Insomnia.

Released in 2002, this remake of a Norwegian film of the same name was both a box office and critical hit, and certainly helped Nolan seal the deal on Batman Begins.

The film tells the story of a homicide detective investigating the murder in a town where the sun doesn’t set, and stars Al Pacino, Robin Williams and Hilary Swank.

We discuss the theme of moral ambiguity, the incredible performances at the heart of this movie, mind games and much more.
