Stacey Head founded she wear in 2013 after a nail-through-the-foot incident on a worksite. After searching far and wide for comfortable, stylish women’s work boots but only finding “unisex” options that were heavy and ill-fitting, Stacey set out to develop a range of safety work boots designed specifically for women.
After much research and development, due diligence, planning, prototype building, laboratory testing she wear’s first range of safety work boots designed and styled for women, along with a range of other matching workwear accessories, was launched in October 2013.
Fast forward to 2022 and that same all-day comfort and support has been reengineered into everyday work and fashion footwear as well as a great range of work wear.
